2026 Tahoe Sail Week

July 10-19

2026 Tahoe Sail Week is here — a co-sponsored series between Tahoe Yacht Club and South Lake Tahoe Windjammers Yacht Club, bringing racers and crews together across the lake for a full week of sailing.

It all kicks off with the 63rd Annual Trans Tahoe Regatta, July 10–12, featuring Friday buoy racing, Saturday’s iconic long-distance race for double points, and Sunday one-design racing for the Melges 24 and Moore 24 fleets. From there, the action continues on the South Shore with the Southern Crossing regatta before wrapping up with a celebratory brunch on Sunday, July 19.

  • Beer Can Races

    These races put on by the South Lake Tahoe Windjammers Yacht Club have taken place on Lake Tahoe since the early 1970s. “Beer Can” racing is a term given to a more informal and relaxed type of sailboat racing. Click here to learn more!
